The project entailed harmonizing a century of renovations and reconfigurations. The apartment layout and flow was made more elegant, while fitting a contemporary lifestyle. A simple stepped fireplace mantle, new inlaid wood flooring details, bold new marble flooring, and laser-cut radiator panels, combined with restored historic detailing, gave the apartment a new and understated elegance.
